Who can apply
We're looking for Métis Artists and entrepreneurs ready to showcase their art and products online. We prioritize local, tier 1 & 2 level art (see below for more details on art selection). We accept a variety of art, resources and products made by Métis creators and we're working on a process to highlight art and items that are reflective of the Métis' distinct culture and heritage. Please fill out the application and let us know more about you and your offerings.
What The Métis Trading Post Offers
Art Selection
Tier 1
Art and products are entirely artist-driven, with Métis artists responsible for the design, production, and distribution, ensuring complete cultural authenticity and quality control.
Tier 2
Art and products are designed by Métis artists but manufactured or produced by trusted third-party vendors, allowing for scalability while retaining artistic integrity.
Tier 3
Art and products involve licensed use of indigenous designs, allowing for broader commercial reach while ensuring the artists/designers receive fair compensation and recognition for their intellectual property.

What You Need To Do
Step 1
Interested artists and artisans can request a fillable PDF or access the link to the application using the “Apply Now” button below.
Step 2
Applicants must fill out the application and upload images of their art or
products (up to 3-4 items) and provide a short description of their work.
Step 3
Applications will be reviewed and if successful, participants will be notified via phone call or email and directed on the next steps.
